Joel is currently working at Chanel as an Assitant Visual Merchandising Designer with the APAC team. He updates boutique store animation guidelines according to campaigns, which can refresh as fast as 1 month intervals, to adapt to markets’ needs. He also adapts campaign elements to spaces for events and pop-ups, while having the client journey and touchpoints in mind, creating zoning for intended activities within the tenant line, which may also include the contsruction hoarding and building’s facade. He also helps with updating merchandising planograms in boutiques, department stores, and travel retail enviroments.

While working at RISIS, Joel was the Product Designer. He was is in charge of most of the functional items, and also handles corporate projects that are related to his scope. He liaises with factories on the manufacturability of each part, and decides the appropriate CMF of the products. As the operator of the 3D machine (Envisiontec Vida HD cDLM), he also cures and post processes resin pieces, which he does, not only for his company, but also for a sister company. Each STL file is checked and repaired, with the support structures built. Every now and then, he also helps shoot product and event photos.

Joel was a Retail Designer in Razer, creating planograms of flagship stores worldwide, he also had to understand the comapny’s brand identity and keep track of the ever growing product line.

In his time at igloohome (now igloocompany), Joel directed, shot, and edited tutorial and informative videos of their Deadbolt 2S and Keybox 2 smart locks, which can still be found on their Youtube channel.

When at FUNTASY ISLAND, Joel designed, animated, and liaised with factories to produce the resort’s souvenir, a hand-cranked automata toy.

He graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic’s Diploma in Industrial Design in 2016, and LASALLE College of The Arts’ BA(Hon) Product Design course in 2020.

The name Keojoloh came about when he wanted to have a unique name that would only be used by him. So he jumbled up the letters of his name to form this anagram.
